”Working & Implementing the Unreal Engine Task”

All November Separate Task List

All November Separate Task List

After the one-week break, my Partner and I decided to formulate our next task of completing the Unreal Project in two weeks separately. My Partner decided to implement the game mechanics of our Unreal projects and work with the player's movements, crawling mechanics, health and poison status bar, enemies' movements, tilesets, environments and overworld levels. Whereas, I was in charge of the User Interface and their Widget to create the UI Pause menu, Main Menu, Intro Comic and Quit Button.

The image on the left is the separate task made by my Partner.

I start with the Comic Artwork pages on time and send them to my Partner's Onedrive to let him refine and improve the colours. As for the other task, designing the User Interface and their Widget is a bit too easy as long as I know the process and their example videos. Although we had a separate task, I still wanted to help my Partner to complete his difficult task of implementing the Unreal Engine game.

Last Artwork Asset requests from my Partner:

Before we developed this project, my partner requested me to create an example artwork of another background element and narrative character asset, where they can show warning signs and tells how bad it is for the player to explore the environment.

Assets must be warning signs, which resemble the other background elements. Other ones should be the non playable characters, who will narrate and tells the player about their controls. The image on the left is the artworks I made for the game project.

My Partner’s Improved Pixel Version Assets:

After designing the artwork assets and sending them to him, my partner spends his time, refining and improving assets to a new version at home. His new version has made a lot of great changes. An example is those images down below:
