Game Development Process #2
Game Development Process #4
Starting the Vector artworks in Photoshop Task
Reasons for choosing Vector Artstyles of this Cinematic Animation:
- The first thing to use the aesthetic and visual style of this animation project is to use Vector Art with the rainy environment.
- The reason I wanted to make a cinematic cutscene with vector image style is to compare them to a low poly 3D Model game, showing how their world has no stroke and too simple to present it.
- Another part to use vector image is to create them faster than raster image. Quality can be simple and even if appearance is child friendly, it can also help the audience know what the story narrative takes place.
Planning the First Cinematic Assets to use for Animation Process:
- The first cutscene and their script has been sent and it was time to create some vector art assets before editing their scenes in Adobe After Effects.
- After the Vector Image decision with my team, my next step was to find some example videos of vector art animation like Inforgraphic show videos in YouTube.
- This will help me learn more about their use of Vector art, including their methods to use separate assets. I could also find some vector artworks in social media like Pinterest.
- After that, I wanted to start create them in Photoshop and use outlines as a beginner before finalising them.
Using Vector Art references for the Assets:
Before I get to the Vector Art process, I wanted to learn how to show everyone about a simple cinematic vector style and so, I have to find some example reference of the vector artworks without using stroke lines.

More Reference Images from Pinterest to Draw Grandparents Characters:
I haven't draw any old people before and so, I have to find some inspired old man examples from anime or cartoon show and used them as reference. As for the old lady, I wanted to create a character based on my real life relatives for fun.
