Game Development Process #4
GAD 553 Game Development
Refining the Previous Assets and Decisions Task
Game Progress between 3D Gameplay and 2D Cutscenes:
As the Game project develops, their progress has improved to its main point that the game started to follow the RPG story and their gameplay goals.
To describe the onboarding process of the Player's Journey of the game, there is a flowchart image on the right that follows the starting point of using both 2D Cutscene and 3D Gameplay to the end.
- This image flowchart shows when the Player hits the Play Button, the screen will take them to the 2D Cinematic Cutscene, leading to the place where they have to play the game in 3D Gameplay as first person.
- When the Player touches an item that will send to the next level, it will take the screen to the new cutscenes where the story continues.

The Ending of this Demo game may be a cliffhanger and not the full version but, it gives Players a chance to know the story of this game is not over yet.
Refining the Main Menu Background:
The Level Design Team member gave me a short but not an important request to change and refine the Main Menu Background.
- He also requested to add some details inside the Mountain hole by putting a secret starting cave with blue lights.
- I followed his request and used Adobe Photoshop to add the Mountain Cave colours but, I can only put the orange light instead of blue light, based on the Beach level design gameplay.

Adding "E button" User Interface with Text:
There was another request from the Level Designer Team Member that the UI E Button Design should refine and change their colours based on the Pirate theme.
- I followed his instructions by changing the E button to brown colour, lowering the Background Brush Opacity and separating their assets to send it to him.
